Who doesn’t enjoy a puzzle? This week’s E-Learning Heroes Challenge, challenged us to use our brains to create a puzzle or brain-training game in Storyline.
I have created two interactive versions of puzzles found here.
The first puzzle that I created uses a variety of variables, including calculated variables. The learner is challenged to place the numbers from 1 to 9 in the squares. Each side must add up to 17. I still need to modify this game so that it checks to ensure that the items placed in each of the numeric-entry boxes are unique.
The second puzzle, is the timeless match-stick puzzle. You need to remove six matches to make ten. I have used this challenge to create a drag and drop puzzle. This has a reset option, as well as a solution layer.
I look forward to your suggestions and comments. Please feel free to leave your comments below.
